The RSE.COOP programme is aimed at cooperatives and employee-owned companies based in Catalonia. Its main aim is to provide companies of this type with a tool to guide them through the different steps required to become socially responsible. The tool, which has been designed by the Catalan Confederation of Cooperatives, has a dual function: to analyse and measure how socially responsible a particular company is, and to serve as a guide for introducing improvements in the three spheres defined by CSR: the economy, society, and the environment.
Finally, all companies that are judged to be socially responsible will be awarded a certificate to this effect and granted the right to use the Cooperative CSR Mark provided for by the programme to distinguish socially responsible companies. The entire implementation process of the CSR programme will last a maximum of 15 months.
